Banky W, Julius Agwu, Joseph Benjamin, others for The Journey Begins

A-List Musician and boss of Empire Mate Entertainment, Banky W alongside Julius D’Genius Agwu, Joseph Benjamin, Yaw, Akpororo, Lepacious Bose and O.C Ukeje will join Tim Godfrey and the Xtreme to set the stage for a fusion of dance, drama and high energy music at “The Journey Begins” taking place at the Shell Hall, Muson Centre on September 28, 2013.
Proudly supported by Century Energy, Solution Media, HoneyGold Resources and This Present House, “The Journey Begins” promises to be an event you will remember for a long time to come.
Directed by Joseph Ofili “The Journey Begins” is a movement geared towards building individuals who understand that mistakes, challenges and setbacks are a crucial part of the human experience and existence as well as young people who possess the strength to embrace them when they happen and the courage to move beyond them to live a worthwhile existence.
Primarily set within a law court setting, this story is delivered through intriguing hybrid of drama, music and dance. Then it follows the trajectory of each character’s peculiar emotional dilemma, leading to a thought provoking resolution, before climaxing in a high energy musical performance.
Speaking further on the event, Tim Godfrey, the President of RoX said “In a time like this, we need to create an atmosphere where we can reach out to our youth with a message even in the midst of the mess, that they can turn a new leaf today, and let “The Journey Begins” again for them towards a better life.
